The Oulight app lets you use your smartphone to easily check for lamp flicker at home, school, work, or anyplace where you have experienced unpleasant lighting. The app lets you compare lamps and lighting fixtures when you are buying them for your home or workplace.
How
The app lets you photograph a source of light or lamp you want to measure. The app analyzes the proportion of lamp flicker in relation to the amount of steady flicker-free light and also indicates the percentage of flicker at different frequencies. The app tells you when flicker may be detrimental to some people.
Note! Oulight application currently supports measurements on countries with 50 Hz mains frequency (eg. EU).
Note! This is a trial version of the Oulight application. It allows you to make limited amount of measurements. You can upgrade it to a full version buy making an in-app purchase. Alternatively you can by a one month license with a reduced price.
